By clicking the Submit button or purchasing the placenta processing package, I agree to the terms of service. 

Limitations and Disclaimer:


Your encapsulater is not a licensed medical professional and is not able to diagnose, treat or prescribe for any health condition. Services and fees are for the preparation and encapsulation of your placenta, not for the sale of the capsules. No specific benefits or effects are promised. Benefits will vary from person to person.

The encapsulater will provide storing and consumption directions with the preporatien of your placenta.

Client Responsibility:

It is your responsibility to notify Austin Womb Service as soon after the birth as possible to make arrangements for pick up or drop off.

Failure to do so may result in delayed placenta preparation and encapsulation and may cause decreased potency of nutrients, hormones, and other beneficial attributes of the placenta, and even spoilage of the placenta which would render it unusable for encapsulation.

It is your responsibility to discuss release of your placenta from the hospital where you give birth and to ensure proper storage of your placenta in a refrigerator or cooler with the placenta placed on ice until it can be delivered for preparation and encapsulation.

Austin Womb Service does not determine whether or not the placenta is suitable for consumption; it is your responsibility to discuss this with your care provider .

Your Encapsulater and Austin Womb Service are not responsible for any adverse reactions to your placenta capsules.  Please inform your Encapsulater of any allergies prior to the encapsulation process.   

When the encapsulation process takes place in your home, the placenta will be left to dehydrate for several hours.  You may choose to leave it unattended, but The Encapsulater and Austin Womb Service are not responsible for any fire or damages that may occur. 

Encapsulater Responsibility:

Your Encapsulater will use proper food handling techniques and perform the encapsulation in a clean environment using tools and equipment that have been cleaned and sterilized before and after each use. 



If this agreement is terminated before the release of the placenta **BEFORE 34wks gestation, during contractual time**  to the Encapsulater, 50% of fees paid will be returned, 50% will be kept for administrative fees.   If for whatever reason **AFTER 34wks gestation, during contractual time** no refund will be issued but 75% of the total fee paid can be transferred to use for other services. 25% is kept for administrative fees. This is because we only take a certain amount of placenta clients a month to ensure that everyone is able to get their products in a timely manner and are not prepared at the same time as another clients!   

If the contract is terminated after releasing the placenta to the encapsulater  but before any preparation have begun, it will be returned for disposal.  


There will be no refund and payment will be due in full once encapsulater has the placenta and/or preparation has begun. 

Feedback extortion policy

Our feedback system plays a key role in keeping our business a safe and trusted marketplace, and we’re committed to ensuring it isn’t misused.

Our feedback extortion policy protects both buyers and sellers by preventing the use of feedback as a tool to force demands on anyone who utilizes our services.

Customers or clients are not allowed to threaten to use feedback or detailed ratings in an attempt to force a seller into providing:

  • Goods or services that weren't included in the original item's description or purchase price.

  • A return, refund, or replacement item not covered by the original listing

If there is a problem with a transaction, the customer or client should report the problem directly to the owner of Austin Womb Service and can also submit a feedback form on our website to include detailed information about the problem.

What are the guidelines?

Examples of feedback extortion

The customer or client can't threaten to leave negative feedback or low detailed review ratings if Austin Womb Service won't:

  • Give a full or partial refund for an item if not covered by the original listing or non allowed refund

  • Include an extra item or service that wasn't part of the original listing.

The doula can't:

  • Refuse to ship an item, provide service or refund the customer or client unless the client leaves positive feedback or high detailed review ratings.

  • Offer monetary compensation, like a partial refund, to the client in exchange for positive feedback or revising negative or neutral Feedback.

    This is called Extortion! and we do not appreciate it. Any clients who are found guilty of it will be reported immediately.
    Blackmail, slander and or libel is very serious.

By signing this agreement you acknowledge that Austin Womb Service follows all safety measures set my the City of Austin Health and Safety guidelines for food preparation and that you agree to hold not hold Austin Womb Service liable for any loss, liability, damage or cost that may arise from the ingestion or preparation of your placenta. In the case of inability to sign or forgetting to sign the agreement, by purchasing the placenta services you agree to uphold to the same standards as if you did sign it.
